This limited-time summer event brings the magic of Thomas & Friends™ to life with an interactive train ride, family activities, live entertainment, photo opportunities, and more in the heart of the Smoky Mountains.
All aboard for a rockin’ good time! Day Out With Thomas™: Let’s Rock, Let’s Roll Tour brings the excitement to life with a real train ride pulled by Thomas, fun photo opportunities, and an exclusive gift shop. Keep the energy going at the Music Corner with lawn games, hands-on activities, and music-inspired fun the whole family will love.
Enjoy delicious bites from on-site food trucks offering a variety of snacks and meals for all ages. Plus, live entertainment and interactive play areas ensure the fun continues all day long.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy all activities and explore the event grounds before their scheduled train ride. Parking, directions, accessibility information, and additional event details can be found below to help families prepare for their visit.
Train Time Reminder: The time on your ticket is your departure time. Boarding begins 15 minutes prior, so please arrive early, listen for announcements, and have your tickets ready for a smooth boarding experience.
Location: This event will take place at the Jackson Fairgrounds — not at the Bryson City Depot.
